Etsy photo size questions
What size should Etsy photos be?
Etsy recommends at least 2000px on the shorter side so buyers can zoom in. The first photo needs at least 635px on each side or it can rank lower in Etsy search.
What is the Etsy photo file size limit?
Photos must be under 1MB. If yours is bigger, compress it and re-export before uploading.
Which photo formats does Etsy accept?
JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, and HEIC. Animated GIFs are not supported, and transparent PNGs render black - flatten them first.
What size should my shop banner and icon be?
The big shop banner works best at 3360 x 840. Mini banners need at least 1200 x 160. Shop icons are shown at 500 x 500, cropped to a circle.
